Bradwell with Pattiswick Parish Council, on behalf of Braintree District Council, would like to let residents know that deliveries of bins for the new recycling service will begin from Monday.
 
 Bin deliveries
  • Deliveries will take place over approximately 15 weeks
  • They will start in the north of the district and work inwards, finishing in Braintree
  • All bins will be delivered with stickers advising not to use them until June 2026
  • Communal properties are not included in these deliveries
  • Box deliveries for residents assessed as needing a non-standard collection will begin later.

National Highways have advised of planned resurfacing works on the A120 westbound between Prince of Wales Roundabout and Marks Tey Interchange (A12 J25).

When:
Friday 30 January 2026
8pm – 6am (overnight, weather permitting)

The works will help keep the A120 safe and in good condition for road users.

Road closure & diversion:
The A120 westbound will be closed between Prince of Wales Roundabout and Marks Tey Interchange. A signed diversion will be in place:

Travel south on London Road to join the A12 southbound to Junction 24
Exit at J24 onto the B1024, then rejoin the A12 northbound to Junction 25
Exit at J25 to continue onto the A120

A diversion map is provided below.
